Yvonne Denise Gill

I've had some good days, I've had some hills to climb, I've had some lonely days and some sleepless, but when I look around, and I think things over, all of my good days outweigh my bad days and I won't complain.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering care and compassion to the relatives of Ms. Yvonne Denise Gill, age 54 of Warrenton, North Carolina.  Ms. Gill transitioned on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in the Oakville Community, Macon, North Carolina.  The Reverend Charles Faulcon, pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Those left to cherish fond memories are:  her mother, Rosa T. Hopkins of the home; one daughter, Jazsmin LaVonne Kearney of Warrenton, North Carolina and Jessica JaKalia Kearney whom she raised as a daughter of Greenville, North Carolina; two brothers, Willie Benton (Shuntel) of Woodbridge, New Jersey and James Benton (Elizabeth) of Henderson, North Carolina; four nieces, Savaya, MyAsia, Myesha and Iman; two nephews, Wali and Jaylen; a cousin raised as a sister, Pamela Evans of Oxford, North Carolina; four special friends, Danielle Terry, Cecily Armstrong, Darlene Peterson and Jill B. Ellis whom she called every morning at 6:30 a.m. when she left work; two special uncles, Joseph Taylor (Eva) of Hillside, New Jersey and Roosevelt Taylor (Ann) of Cinnaminson, New Jersey; her nurses aid from Raleigh Best, Lisa Brown who was dedicated and loved Yvonne; a host of special co-workers at the Warren County Sheriffs Office, cousins, church family and friends.

Ms. Gill will lie in repose on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home located at 482 Cole Farm Road, Warrenton, North Carolina.
