Willie Calvin "Fat Man" Hargrove

Some glad morning when this life is over, I'll fly away.  With compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering care to the loved ones of Mr. Willie Calvin "Fat Man" Hargrove, age 72 of Warren County, North Carolina.  Mr. Hargrove transitioned on Monday, January 20, 2025 at the Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Louisburg, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Mary J. Hargrove will officiate and interment will follow in the First Baptist Church-Soul City Cemetery in Norlina, North Carolina.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  two sisters, Margaret Hargrove and Ida Hargrove, both of Warrenton, North Carolina; a special friend, Annette Barnes of Baltimore, Maryland; two step-children, Wizzy (Antuane) and Quinton; six step-grandchildren; a very special nephew, Chuckie; five nieces, Yvonne, Peggy, Karen, Wanda and Ketta; seven nephews, Bruce St., Allen (Laura), Mike (Rosie), Thomas (Antia), Franklin (Mary Jane), Quintin (Christine) and Steve (Gloria); three special friends, Lynell Miliam, Claiborne Barnes and Kenneth Williams all of Baltimore, Maryland;  a host of great nieces, great nephews,  cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Hargrove will lie in repose on Friday, January 24, 2025 in R. H. Greene Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Yvonne Augustin, 133 Railroad Lane, Warrenton, North Carolina.
