William Nathan Hargrove, Sr.

Pass me not, oh gentle savior, hear my humble cry.  With compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the relatives and friends of Mr. William N. Hargrove, Sr. age 76 of the Perrytown Community, Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mr. Hargrove, also known as "Hargrove", "Grove" or "Mr. William" transitioned on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at this residence. 

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Russell Union Church in Norlina, North Carolina.  The Reverend L. Daniel King, pastor will officiate and interment with Military Honors will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by: two children, William N. Hargrove, Jr. (Chartrenia) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Melissa Nesbitt of Atlanta, Georgia and their mother, Eleanor Fitts Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia; six grandchildren, Alexis Nesbitt, Kinsler Nesbitt, Melyse Nesbitt, Journee Hargrove, Asaa Johnson and King Johnson; two sisters, Mildred Boyd of Warrenton, North Carolina and Dorothy Shelton of Richmond, Virginia; two brothers, Melvin Hargrove (Helen) of Macon, Georgia and Eddie Hargrove, Jr. (Cordia) of Warrenton, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Hargrove will lie in repose on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m.

The family will receive visitors and friends at 124 Ladys Lane in the Perrytown Community, Warrenton, North Carolina beginning on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Family and friends are asked to assemble on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 12:00 noon at 124 Lady's Lane for the processional.
