William Henry Alexander

Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mr. William Henry Alexander, age 71 of Manson, North Carolina.  Mr. Alexander transitioned at his home on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

A memorial Celebration of Life will be conducted on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of Manson Missionary Baptist Church.  The Reverend Tony Clark, Pastor will officiate.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  his loving wife of 49 years, Leavonia D. Alexander of the home; four children Leroy Hawkins of Warrenton, North Carolina, Tonita Cheek (Kyshorba) of Henderson, North Carolina, Henry L. Alexander of Middleburg, North Carolina and Demetris Rice (Thomas) of Gastonia, North Carolina; one sister, Mary A. Henderson of Ridgeway, North Carolina; ten grandchildren, Leroy Hawkins, IV., Trevonte D. Hawkins, Talib Alexander, Theondra Cheek, Zebrayia Hawkins, Alaija Alexander, Brandon Rice, Briana Cheek, Thomas Rice, III. and Gabriella Rice; seven sisters-in-law, Hattie Alexander, Vivian Brodie, Mildred Davis, Lyndell Barnes (Richard), Rozella Robinson, Katie Robinson and Mamie Arrington (Bobby); three brothers-in-law, Ronald Davis, Henry Davis and Bradley Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home, 885 John H. Bullock Road, Henderson, North Carolina.
