Wilbert Douglas Daniels, Sr.

I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary to view the cross where Jesus died for me.  With care and compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mr. Wilbert Douglas Daniels, Sr., age 77 of Richmond, Virginia.  Mr. Daniels, native of Warren County transitioned on Friday, January 3, 2025 in Richmond, Virginia.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of Greenwood Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Eddie W. Lawrence, Pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the United Solid Rock Faith Ministries Memorial Gardens in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  his loving wife, Betty Jean Rodwell Daniels of the home; four children, Tina Thomas Butts (Shane) of New Kent, Virginia, Wilbert Daniels, Jr. (Maria) of North Chesterfield, Virginia, Andre M. Daniels (Joanna) of Pembroke Pines, Florida and Lamar Daniels (Lizabeth) of North Chesterfield, Virginia; eighteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren; three sisters, Adele Plummer and Doris Daniels-Parker (William), both of Warrenton, North Carolina and Angela Daniels-Lewis (Sarah) of Brooklyn, New York; a nephew raised as a brother, James O. "Stanley" Alston (Marian) of Warrenton, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Joyce Leonard (Stanley) of Richmond, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Daniels will lie in repose on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will assemble on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10:20 a.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
