A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the home of Selma Perry Townes, 862 No Bottom Road, Warrenton, North Carolina, with the Reverend Hazel Richardson, officiating.
Those left to cherish his memories are: his children, Craig Perry and Serena Bennerman (Jason) both of Somerset, New Jersey, Denise Perry of New Brunswick, New Jersey and Nancy Callier, of East Orange, New Jersey; one son-in-law, James Johnson of Clayton County, Georgia; twelve Grandchildren, Darnell, Brittany, Christopher, Shalete, Jarred, Diamond, Jordan, Jazmine(Kaila), Kahlil, Chandler and Elliott, lastly one special grandson Kaishon that he took under his wing and raised as a son and given him the nickname “ I don’t know”; ten great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jalanie, Taahir, Liam, Selena, Harmony ,Messiah, Bryson, Sincere, Luna; three sisters, Mildred Boyd (Eugene) of Teaneck, New Jersey, Bertha Cacho and Selma Townes, both of Warrenton, North Carolina; one brother, Jewel Perry (Bettye) of Warrenton, North Carolina; five sisters-in-law, Agnes Fauntleroy (Thomas) of Baltimore, Maryland, Bertha McNeil of Plainfield, New Jersey, Brenda Lee Little of Plymouth, Virginia, Rosa Perry and Norma Wallace, both of Baltimore, Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
