Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives and friends of Ms. Vanessa Mebane, age 65 of Warren County, North Carolina. Ms. Mebane transitioned on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home. The Reverend John E. Jefferson will officiate and Reverend Otha Wimbush will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Oak Level United Church of Christ Cemetery in Manson, North Carolina.
Cherished moments will be forever remembered by: her companion for over 30 years, Alfred Bullock of Manson, North Carolina; one daughter, Adrienne Mebane of Henderson, North Carolina; one son, Anthony Mebane of Greensboro, North Carolina; three grandchildren; four brothers, William Mebane of Oak Harbor, Washington, James Mebane of Arlington, Virginia, Stacy Mebane of Mebane, North Carolina and Christopher Mebane of Washington, D.C.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Ms. Mebane will lie in repose on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors and friends at 124 Jeremy Lane in Manson, North Carolina.
