Vanessa Renee Woods

During this moment of mixed emotions, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort and compassion to the loved ones of Ms. Vanessa Woods, age 53 who transitioned on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at her residence. 

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 12:00 noon at the Oak Level United Church of Christ Cemetery in Manson, North Carolina.  The Reverend Herbert Bullock will officiate.

Memories of Vanessa will always be cherished by:  two children, Michael Woods and Ariane Woods (C.J.), both of Warrenton, North Carolina; five grandchildren; her mother, Mary Woods Robinson of Brooklyn, New York; one sister, Janiyah Robinson of Brooklyn, New York; two brothers, DeWayne Robinson and Shawn Robinson, both of Brooklyn, New York; her grandmother, Annie Woods of Warrenton, North Carolina; five uncles, Wilbert Woods (Patricia), James Woods (Delois), Jerry Woods (Tonya), Torrie Woods and Eric Bates (Jackie); seven aunts, Gladys Green, Doris Woods, Ella Burchette, G. Vivian Alston, Linda Bates, Sheila Woods (Thurland) and Mary Alston Woods; a great uncle, Reverend Herbert Bullock (Essie); a great aunt, Lucy Meadows; one nephew, two nieces, a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

There will be no public viewing. 

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Ariane Woods, 103 Warrenton Village Drive – Apt. 101, Warrenton, North Carolina.
