Farther along, we'll know all about it, farther along, we''ll understand why, we'll understand it all bye and bye.  With hearts of compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mr. Thomas Michael Davis, age 61 of Goldsboro, North Carolina.  Mr. Davis, formerly of Norlina transitioned on Monday, October 20, 2025 at his residence.  

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.  Reverend Malvin Hargrove will officiate.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  two sisters, Ruby D. Williams of Decatur, Georgia and Carol D. Johnson of Norlina, North Carolina; one brother, John E. Davis (Ava) of Warrenton, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Towanda Crosson of Norlina, North Carolina; three nieces, Shannon Johnson, Nakia Burchette and Nastashia Headley (Anthony); four nephews, Dominic Davis, Lance Jerman, Shermain Burchette (Tara) and Charlton Crosson; four great nephews, two great-nieces; a dear cousin, Mamie Lee Kersey of Durham, North Carolina; three double first cousins, Leonard Sledge (Janet), William Sledge and Carolyn Boyd (Eddie); special friends, Bobby Guzman, Elaine Simmons, Gerald "Rico" Collins, Kelvin Autry, Montez Simmons, Sheila "Ma" Blanks and Theresa Covington; a host of cousins, coworkers and friends.

The family will fellowship with visitors and friends immediately following the service in the First Baptist Church of Norlina.  

The family will receive visitors at the home of Carol "Tick" Johnson, 105 West Street, Norlina, North Carolina.
