Stevie G. Henderson

I am tired and weary, but I must toil on, for there will be Peace in the Valley for me one day.  With care and compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mr. Stevie G. Henderson, age 57 of Manson, North Carolina.  Mr. Henderson transitioned on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Warren County, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Oak Level United Church of Christ in Manson, North Carolina.  The Reverend Melvin Hargrove will officiate and interment will follow in the Oak Level United Church of Christ Cemetery in Manson, North Carolina.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  his mother, Lora Helen Henderson of the home; two daughters: Stephanie Hargrove of Wise, North Carolina and Kendra Hargrove of Oxford, North Carolina; a bonus daughter:  Ashley Hargrove of Norlina, North Carolina;  seven grandchildren: Isaiah Seward, Charmeal Seward, Jeremiah Russell, Keziah Hunter, Zavion Freeman, Kah’Liyah Bullock, and Tah’Liyah Bullock; one brother, MacDonald Henderson (Deneise) of Warrenton, North Carolina;  seven sisters: Mary Brown, Deloris Henderson (William) and Bernise Plummer all of Henderson, North Carolina, Shirley Marks (Tom) of Warrenton, North Carolina, Katrina Henderson (Mike), Elaine Henderson (James) and Carolyn Henderson (Matthew) all of Manson, North Carolina; one uncle: Harold Henderson (Cassy); one aunt Carrie Bullock; a great niece: Jada Henderson who he always called his “Eat Eat”; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Mr. Henderson will lie in repose at R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m.  The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Stephanie Hargrove, 1960 US Highway 1 North in Wise.
