Sgt. Anders Wayne Davis

This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.  With hearts of compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives and friends of Sgt. Anders Wayne Davis, age 76 of Wise, North Carolina.  Sgt. Davis transitioned on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.  Reverend Carson F. Jones, Jr., will officiate.  Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery, Warrenton, North Carolina.  

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  his brothers: Larry Davis (Nancy) of Durham North Carolina, Ralph Davis, and Frank Davis both of Warrenton, North Carolina; his nephew Cornelius Davis and his wife Corinna whom he resided with for some years, his loving niece Aimee, as well as host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Sgt. Davis will lie in repose on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
