Sarah Hunter Harrison

When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be.  With loving hearts, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives and friends of Mrs. Sarah Hunter Harrison, age 86 of Norlina, North Carolina.  Mrs. Harrison transitioned on Monday, June 1, 2026 at the Warren Hills Nursing Center in Warrenton, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 12:00 noon in the sanctuary of Whites Grove Christian Church in Norlina, North Carolina.  The Reverend Antoinette Jones, Pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  one son, Robert L. Harrison of Washington, DC; a beloved daughter, Nancy H. Nelson (Samuel) of Raleigh, NC; a granddaughter, Priscilla Nelson; a grandson,  Elliot Nelson (Lorissa); two great-granddaughters Elora and Elaina Nelson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Harrison will lie in repose on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
