Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives and friends of Mr. Roy Milton "Snake" Williams, age 67 of Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Williams, a native of Palmer Springs, Virginia transitioned on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Raleigh Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Jerusalem United Church of Christ in Boydton, Virginia. The Reverend Otha Wimbush, Pastor and Bishop Christopher Mark Williams will deliver the eulogy.
Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by: a niece whom he considered his daughter, Tinnisha Williams of Raleigh, North Carolina; his mother, Bettie Rose Durham of Palmer Springs, Virginia; three sisters, Carolyn Alexander (Ronnie) of Palmer Springs, Virginia, Annette Alston and Debra Hawkins, both of Henderson, North Carolina; one brother, Donnell Durham of Palmer Springs, Virginia; one sister-in-law, Patricia T. Williams of Raleigh, North Carolina; one great uncle, Pete Jackson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two special friends, Bishop Christopher Mark Williams of Raleigh, North Carolina and Bobby Lee Arrington of Dover, New Jersey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
There will be no public viewing.
The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Mrs. Bettie Rose Durham, 1563 Mineral Springs Road, Boydton, Virginia 23917.
