What a friend we have in Jesus, what a privilege it is to carry everything to God in prayer.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering care and compassion to the loved ones of Mrs. Rosa R. Howell, age 80 of Bronx, New York formerly of Wise, North Carolina.  Mrs. Howell transitioned in the Bronx, New York.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 12:00 noon in the sanctuary of New Providence Christian Missionary Baptist Church in Wise, North Carolina.  The Reverend Kathard Marks, Pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will be forever cherished by:  her husband of 58 years, Roy Howell of Bronx, New York; one son, Quentin Howell of the home; one god-daughter, Thalia Howell Johnson of Richmond, Virginia; one sister, Marie Bagley of Bronx, New York; one sister-in-law, Freedonia Gilchrist of Rockwell, North Carolina;  two special nieces, Patricia Williams of Garner, North Carolina and Barbara Hargrove of Norlina, North Carolina; two special nephews, David Terry of Burlington, North Carolina and David Howell of Richmond, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Howell will lie in repose at R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

The family will gather at the home of Barbara Hargrove, 108 Rooker Street, Norlina, North Carolina.
