H Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the relatives and friends of Mr. Richard Wayne Wright, age 72 of Norlina, North Carolina.  Mr. Wright transitioned on Friday, October 18, 2024 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Locust Grove Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina. Reverend Kendall Riddick, pastor will officiate and Reverend Malvin Hargrove will deliver the eulogy.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  one daughter, Jasmine Wilson of Ridgeway, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Serenity Wilson of Ridgeway, North Carolina; one bonus daughter, Ciera McNair of Randleman, North Carolina; seven siblings, Martha Moss (Jimmie) of Warrenton, North Carolina, Sandra Fogg of Wise, North Carolina, Alexander Wright (Joann) of Ridgeway, North Carolina, Doris Robinson of Wise, North Carolina, James Wright, Sr. (Janet) of Norlina, North Carolina, Connie Alexander (Elmo) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Brenda Montague (Charles) of Wise, North Carolina; a special brother-in-law, Johnnie Jones, Sr. of Wise, North Carolina; a circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Wright will lie in repose on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at 151 Union Chapel Road, Ridgeway, North Carolina.
