Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, It is Well, It is well with my soul.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering care and dedication to the loved ones of Reverend Michael L. Palmer, age 67 of 303 Rogers Street, Warrenton, North Carolina.  Reverend Palmer transitioned on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:00 noon from the United Solid Rock Faith Ministries in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Milton Solomon will officiate, Reverend King Perry, Jr., will deliver the eulogy and interment will follow in the Jordan Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Macon, North Carolina.

Left to cherish a life well lived are:  his wife of 34 years, Diane Palmer of the home; five daughters, Lisa Carroll (Randy) of Raleigh, North Carolina; Jamie Meadows of Zebulon, North Carolina; Veronica Henderson (Willie) of Henderson, North Carolina; Maliaka Palmer of Henderson, North Carolina; Shakita Kearney (William) of Bethesda, Maryland; one special son Rodney Davis (Audrey) of Baltimore, Maryland; 12 grandchildren, 1 greatgrandchild, and 1 greatgrandchild due in March 2022; siblings, Margaret Washington of Flint, Michigan; Rueben Palmer (Ingrid) of Norlina, North Carolina; Varanie Lewis (Joe) of Norlina, North Carolina; Malvena Palmer of Pendleton, South Carolina; LaVonia Twitty (Walter) of Norlina, North Carolina; Ella Williams (Gaynell) of Norlina, North Carolina; Winnie Prince of Warrenton, North Carolina; Tinny Perry of Warrenton, North Carolina; Robert ‘Pete’ Perry (Mildred) of Warrenton, North Carolina; his mother-in-law, Lucille Williams Little of Warrenton, North Carolina; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cornelia Palmer of Norlina, North Carolina; Sandy Davis (Ada) of Warrenton, North Carolina; Robert Williams of Oine, North Carolina; Barbara Davis of Warrenton, North Carolina; Bessie Meadows (Richard) of Washington D.C.;  Brenda Yates (Paul) of Temple Hills, Maryland; Debra Perry (Roun) of Seat Pleasant, Maryland; Sonya Oglesby (Greg) of Jonesboro, Georgia; Regina Shaw (Rich) of Spotsylvania, Virginia;  Freddie Little (Harvey) of San Francisco, California; Vivian Wooten of Clinton, Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Reverend Palmer will lie in repose on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The service will be live streamed on the R. H. Greene Funeral Home facebook page.  All attendees are asked to wear a mask.
