Nelson Randolph Alston

Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on, let me stand.  With compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the relatives and friends of Mr. Nelson Randolph Alston, age 60 of Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mr. Alston transitioned on Friday, November 29, 2024 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of Shiloh Baptist Church in the Arcola Community, Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Michael Richardson, pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  five sisters, Della Durham (Amos) of Manson, North Carolina, Stacey Williams, Patricia Richardson, Joyce Brown all of Warrenton, North Carolina and Christine Williams of Macon, North Carolina; two brothers, James Alston (Betty) of Warrenton, North Carolina and Tracy Alston of Sierra Vista, Arizona; one brother-in-law, Sheldon Williams of Warrenton, North Carolina; three uncles, Joseph Carter (Josephine) of Garrett, Virginia, Macklin Carter (Queen) of Louisburg, North Carolina and David Carter, Sr. of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; one aunt, Edith Carter of Enfield, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Alston will lie in repose on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Della Durham, 753  Bullocksville Park Road, Manson, North Carolina.
