Myrtice Ellis

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 Ms. Myrtice Ann Ellis, 70, was born September 2, 1946 to the late Ollie and Shirley Robinson Ellis in Warren County, NC. She passed away on June 19, 2017 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Myrtice was educated in the Warren County public school system, and graduated from John R. Hawkins High School in Warrenton, NC. Upon graduation, she relocated to New York, and was employed for many years with Chase Manhattan Bank. Early in her life, she was baptized and joined the Jordan Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Warren County. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son: Clarence Ellis of Mt Vernon, New York; two sisters: Mildred Washington of Bronx, NY, and Ruth Perrineau of Macon, NC, two nieces: Veronica Boyd (Donnie) of Macon, NC, and Constance Robinson of Bronx, New York; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 12:00 noon from the Jordan Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Rickie Bell will deliver the eulogy. Ms. Ellis may be viewed Friday, June 23, 2017 in the R. H. Greene Funeral Home Chapel from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM, and at the church one hour prior to the service.
