Mother Mary Ida Andrews Hargrove

Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Mrs. Mary Ida Andrews Hargrove, age 94 of Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mrs. Hargrove transitioned on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Warren Hills Nursing Center in Warrenton, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Russell Union  Church in Norlina, North Carolina.  Reverend Daniel King, Pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

She leaves to celebrate everlasting memories:  three sons, James Hargrove (Shirley) of Warrenton, North Carolina, Albert Hargrove (Salina) and Merlin Hargrove (Jean), both of Richmond, Virginia; four grandchildren, Charles Talley, Devon Hargrove, Tammy Hargrove and Ebony Hargrove; three great-grandchildren; a god daughter, Reverend Shirley Hicks of Warrenton, North Carolina; one brother-in-law, George Jones of Norlina, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Hargrove will lie in repose on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 12:00 noon until the hour of service in the sanctuary of Russell Union RZUA Church.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of James Hargrove, 112 Lady’s Lane, Warrenton, North Carolina.
