Minister Matthew Crawford

I'm going search till I find, my peace of mind, for I know there's a place for me.  With care and compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Minister Matthew Crawford, age 93 of Macon, North Carolina.  Minister Crawford transitioned on Monday, October 21, 2024 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina. 

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Macon, North Carolina.  The Reverend Mark Jones, Pastor will officiate, Pastor Fatima Williams will deliver the eulogy and interment in the churuch cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished:  six children, Jacqueline Johnson (Reginald), Clyde Wayne, Darryl Reeves all of Dallas, Texas, Pastor Fatima Williams (Cornelius) of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Alfatir Crawford of Macon, North Carolina and Sieta Crawford of Raleigh, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Crawford of Dallas, Texas; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Minister Crawford will lie in repose on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
