Mildred W. Jones

There's a land beyond the river, where my life will be sweeter bye and bye.  With hearts of compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Mrs. Mildred W. Jones, age 80 of 546 Stewart Road, Norlina, North Carolina.  Mrs. Jones transitioned on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Granville Medical Center in Oxford, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Burchette Chapel United Church of Christ in Manson, North Carolina.  The Reverend Charlie E. Leath, pastor will offiicate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  one son, Mark Jones, Sr. (Nedra) of Warrenton, North Carolina; one grandson, Mark Jones, Jr., of Warrenton, North Carolina; four sisters, Mary Foster of Norlina, North Carolina, Lucy Judkins, Maranda Turner (Al), both of Richmond, Virginia and Maggie Williams of Ridgeway, North Carolina; three brothers, James Williams (Dot), David Lee Williams both of Richmond, Virginia and Lenwood Williams of Ridgeway, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law, Beverly Jones (Johnnie) of Warrenton, North Carolina, Mary Wright of Raleigh, North Carolina and Laverne Williams of Richmond, Virginia; two brothers-in-law, Samuel Jones of Youngsville, North Carolina and Leon Williams of Ridgeway, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Jones will lie in repose on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at 546 Stewart Road, Norlina, North Carolina.
