Michael Wallace Davis

With hearts of compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Mr. Michael Wallace Davis, age 60 of Norlina, North Carolina.  Mr. Davis transitioned on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the UNC Hospital in Chapel, Hill, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Carson F. Jones, Jr., Pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  his devoted wife, Sarah A. Davis of the home; four sons, Darious Davis (Keyona) and Cedric Davis (Carlisha), both of Henderson, North Carolina, Demark Davis of the home and Michael Wallace Davis, Jr., of Oakland, California; six grandchildren; four brothers, William McClain Davis (Josephine), both of Warrenton, North Carolina, Larry Davis (Ann), Mark Davis (Melissa), both of Henderson, North Carolina; two step-sisters, Lucy Harrison of Warrenton, North Carolina and Yvonne Perry Bullock of Raleigh, North Carolina; one step-brother, Charles Watson of Littleton, North Carolina; a special cousin like a sister, Deloris Mayo of Norlina, North Carolina; one uncle, Nelson Smith of Akron, Ohio; three great aunts, Elizabeth Watson, Kapana D. Jones, both of Warrenton, North Carolina and Dorothy Vaughan of Norlina, North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Theodore Richardson of Louisburg, North Carolina; two special cousins/friends, Randy Terry and Keith Terry, both of Norlina, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Davis will lie in repose on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at 296 Liberation Road, Norlina, North Carolina.
