Mary Agnes "Noot" Simes Harrison

Precious Lord, take my hand, and lead me home.  With care and compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Mrs. Mary Agnes "Noot" Simes Harrison, age 78 of Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mrs. Harrison transitioned on Monday, April 21, 2025 at the Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Carson F. Jones, Jr., Pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  seven siblings, Mamie "Bunk" Kearney, Bertha "Bean" Massenburg, both of Paterson, New Jersey, Johnnie Simes (Shirley), Horace Simes, Connie Simes, Carletta Simes all of Warrenton, North Carolina and Marvin Townes of Washington, D.C.; one brother-in-law, Jasper Southerland of Norlina, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Harrison will lie in repose on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors at the home, 237 Sulphur Springs Road, Warrenton, North Carolina.
