Martha "Tweetie Bird" Jones Lovely

With hearts of compassion and love, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mrs. Martha "Tweetie Bird" Jones Lovely, age 85 of Norlina, North Carolina.  Mrs. Lovely transitioned on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of Ridgeway Missionary Baptist Church in Norlina, North Carolina.  The Reverend Nicole Jones will officiate and interment will follow in the Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  a loving and devoted companion, Robert "Chuck" Davis of Norlina, North Carolina; one daughter, Sandra Lovely of Norlina, North Carolina; eight step-children, Farrod Lionel Lovely of Hamlet, North Carolina, Dennis Davis (Marie), Fannie Burwell (Michael), Larry Davis (Juliette) all of Richmond, Virginia, Tina Davis, Geraldine Collins (Alphonso), Robert Davis (Reema) and Roberta Davis all of Henderson, North Carolina; two god-children, Mitzi Townes and JaNae Somerville; six grandchildren; twelve siblings, Bessie Vann of Williamsboro, North Carolina, Bernice Davis of Richmond, Virginia, Edna Boyd of Ridgeway, North Carolina, James Jones (Elnora) of Nashville, North Carolina, Reverend Mary Somerville of Ridgeway, North Carolina, Leon Jones (Bernice) of Henderson, North Carolina, Emma Jones of Ridgeway, North Carolina, Doris Hargrove of Henderson, North Carolina, Carolyn King (George) of Raleigh, North Carolina,  Brenda Jones, Percell Jones (Gail) and Wendell Jones all of Ridgeway, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lovely will lie in repose on Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home, 650 Axtell-Ridgeway Road, Norlina, North Carolina.
