Greene Funeral Home is offering care to the loved ones of Mrs. Marion "Maebug" Scrutchings Reavis, age 99 of the Embro Community, Macon, North Carolina. Mrs. Reavis transitioned on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at her residence in Roswell, Georgia.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the sanctuary of the Greater Lovely Hill Baptist Church in Macon, North Carolina. The Reverend Dr. Lisa Reavis-Caldwell will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Everlasting memories of a life well lived will remain in the hearts of: four daughters, Lillian Reavis Williams (Freddie) of Durham, North Carolina, Krista Reavis Larkins (Hollis) of Macon, North Carolina, Sherma Reavis Dailey (Charles) of Roswell, Georgia and Terecia Reavis of Fredericksburg, Virginia; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Ophelia High of Akron, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Charlene Manson of Washington State; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and family friends.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Nelson E. Reavis, one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Reavis Collier (Bill), nephew/son, David Lee Reavis; eight brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Reavis will lie in repose in R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m.
