Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior, hear my humble cry.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort and compassion to the loved ones of Mrs. Marinda Thrower Davis, age 78 of Landover, Maryland formerly of Warren County, North Carolina.  Mrs. Davis transitioned in Landover, Maryland.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at  11:00 a.m. from the Ministers Outreach Tabernacle in Henderson, North Carolina.  Pastor Frank Terry will officiate and interment will follow in the Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Mrs. Davis is survived by:  five children, Patricia Tuck Moss (James) of Manson, North Carolina; Charmaine Thrower Franklin (Ray Sr) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; Marquis Thrower Sr. of Hyattsville, Maryland; Darryl Davis (Tanna) of Hyattsville, Maryland; Marlo Davis Haskins (Kevin) of Washington, DC; and adopted son, Victor “Scooby” Parker (Carolyn) of Washington, DC; 11 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; one brother-in-law: Charles Davis (Lizzie) of Wise, North Carolina; and three sisters-in-law:  Lottie Davis Terry (James) of Henderson, North Carolina; Mary Thrower of Spring Hope, North Carolina: and Alma Thrower of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, neighbors, former coworkers, church family and friends too numerous to mention!  

Mrs. Davis will lie in repose on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services.
