Obituary
With tender sympathy, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering care to the loved ones of Mr. Major Sylver, age 89 of Warrenton, North Carolina. Mr. Sylver transitioned on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home in Warrenton, North Carolina. Brother Clarence Carter will officiate.
Memories will forever be cherished by: his wife, Betty Gary Sylver; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy L. Silver and Christine Evans; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Mr. Sylver will lie in repose on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Silver, 395 Tutelo Road, Warrenton, North Carolina.
