Mable Yvonne Bullock Alston

Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on, let me stand, through the storm, through the night, lead me on to the light, Take my hand precious Lord and lead me home.  With dignity and compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mrs. Mable Yvonne Bullock Alston, age 61 Norlina, North Carolina.  Mrs. Alston transitioned on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Ridgeway Missionary Baptist Church in Norlina, North Carolina.  The Reverend Dr. Willie T. Ramey, III., pastor will officiate and Minister Nichole Jones Ramey will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Memories will forever be cherished by:  one daughter, Keisha Terry (Reggie) of Manson, North Carolina; one son, Dexter Alston (Shanice) of Henderson, North Carolina; two grandsons, Kameron Terry and Roman Alston; three brothers, Harold Bullock of Camp Springs, Maryland, Melvin Bullock (Sharon) of Knightdale, North Carolina and Ronnie Alexander (Carolyn) of Boydton, Virginia; two sisters, Shirley Foxworth (Clifton) of Trenton, New Jersey and Maxine Russell of Raleigh, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Valerie Bullock of Raleigh, North Carolina; special friends who assisted with her travel to doctors appointments and making sure had food and any help needed, Glenda Moss, Carolyn Suite, Hermenia Williams, Mary Eaton, Cassandra Bullock Mayo and Mary Harrison;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.   

Mrs. Alston will lie in repose in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m.
