When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the Victory.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort and compassion to the loved ones of retired educator,  Mrs. Lucy Ramsey Branch, age 102 of 270 Embro Vaughan Road in Macon, North Carolina.  Mrs. Branch transitioned on Friday, December 3, 2021 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Greater Lovely Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Macon, North Carolina.  The Reverend William W. Faulcon, Jr., will officiate.

Her absence leaves to mourn:  son Thomas Ramsey (Loretta) of Greensboro, NC; daughter Gwyndolyn Dian Alston of Embro, NC; granddaughter Cassandra “Sandy” Alston-Childs (Jeff), great-grandchildren Jeffrey Childs Jr and Sydney Childs of West Bloomfield, MI; great-grandson Marques Alston (Melissa), great-great grandchildren Imoni, Marques Jr and Amora of Toms River, NJ;  great-granddaughter Chanelle Alston, great-great grandchildren twins Samiyah and Saniyah Buchanan of Mays Landing, NJ; great-granddaughter Zhane Alston of Eatontown, NJ; stepson John Earl Branch (Tomeatha), step-grandchildren Kimberly Frazier (Linden) and son Justin, Stacey Lee (Alphonso) and children Bailey and Alphonso, Christopher Branch (Electra) and children Jayce, Camden, Kanai and Alahna, and Letitia Dzirasa (Delali) all of Maryland;  nephew Charles Edwards of Norwich, CT; cousins Linda Maxwell and daughter Ayodele, Viola Maxwell-Thompson (James) and daughter Brittany of Virginia and grand-daughter in law Felicia Nkansa Alston of New Jersey; and a host of family, church family and friends. 

Mrs. Branch will lie in repose on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m. in the R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the family would like to reserve in-home visits for immediate family.  Thank you in advance for understanding.
