Lucille Jiggetts Bounds

Greene Funeral Home is offering love and service to the relatives of Mrs. Lucille Jiggetts Bounds, age 87 of Boydton, Virginia.  Mrs. Bounds transitioned on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the VCU Hospital in South Hill, Virginia.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Manson, North Carolina.  Reverend William Alston, Pastor will officiate and Reverend Ralph Steed will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  her husband, Kenneth Womack; two daughters, Tina Boyd of Richmond, Virginia and Peggy Durham-Pender of Newark, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Carl Boyd, Jr. of Georgia and Chanel Pender of Burlington, North Carolina; two brothers, Thomas Jiggetts (Mary) and Levi Jiggetts of Boydton, Virginia; two sisters, Gloria Bagley and Eliza Jiggetts, both of Queens, New York; three sisters-in-law, Mary Jiggetts of Boydton, Virginia, Anna Jiggetts and Brenda Jiggetts, both of Brooklyn, New York; two aunts, Henrietta Steed and Alice Harrison; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Bounds will lie in repose on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
