Lizzy Mae Hargrove Davis

I don’t know about tomorrow, I just live from day to day, but I know who holds tomorrow and I know who holds my hand.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering sympathy and concern to the relatives of Mrs. Lizzy Mae Hargrove Davis, age 85 of 124 Cole Forest Road, Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mrs. Davis transitioned on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.  

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Roanoke Chapel Christian Church in Boydton, Virginia.  The Reverend Curtis McCrae, Pastor will officiate.

Precious memories will be cherished by:  her husband, Charlie W. "CW" Davis of the home; two sons, Clarence Bender (Patricia) and Ritchie Green, both of Wise, North Carolina; one daughter, Nicole Davis of Henderson, North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; five sisters, Beatrice Hargrove of Wise, North Carolina, Rosetta Hargrove and Gloria Hargrove, both of Brooklyn, New York, Alice Hargrove of Hamburg, New Jersey and Brenda Hargrove of Baltimore, Maryland; three brothers, Clifton Hargrove (Emma) of Spring Texas, Rudolph Hargrove of Wise, North Carolina and Wayne Hargrove of Nassau, New York; one sister-in-law, Lottie Terry (James) of Henderson, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Davis will lie in repose at R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home, located at 124 Cole Forest Road, Warrenton, North Carolina.
