Linzie Towns, Jr.

There’s a dream that I dream of my Heavenly home, may be morning, night or noon, I don’t know just how soon, but I’m sending up my timber everyday. R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering compassion and comfort to the loved ones of Mr. Linzie Towns, Jr., age 72 of Macon, North Carolina.  Mr. Towns transitioned on Friday, July 7, 2023 at WakeMed North in Raleigh, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Macon, North Carolina.  The Reverend Melvin Hargrove, pastor will officiate.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  his wife, Karen Baker Towns of the home; one son, Justin Towns of Henderson, North Carolina; one daughter, Shannon Towns of Macon, North Carolina; two grandsons, Adonis and Tristan; his mother, Margaret Harrison Towns of Macon, North Carolina; one brother, Leonard Towns (Filomena) of Macon, North Carolina; nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Towns will lie in repose on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service in Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home, located 2003 US Highway 158-E in Macon, North Carolina.
