Till my raptured soul shall find, rest beyond the river. With loving hearts, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives and friends of Mr. Linwood Joel Williams, age 64 of Norlina, North Carolina. Mr. Williams transitioned on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of United Solid Rock Faith Ministries, Norlina, North Carolina. Bishop Moore H. Bynum, Pastor will officiate.
Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by: four sisters, Mary Foster of Soul City, North Carolina, Lucy Judkins, Maranda Turner (Al), both of Richmond, Virginia and Maggie Perry of Norlina, North Carolina; two brothers, James Williams (Dot) and David Lee Williams both of Richmond, Virginia; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Williams of Chesterfield County, Virginia; one brother, Leon Williams of Norlina, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, customers, colleagues and friends.
The family will receive visitors and friends at 1155 Ridgeway Warrenton Road, Norlina, North Carolina.
Mr. Williams will lie in repose on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
