Lether Yarbrough Young

When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be.  With tender sympathy, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mrs. Lether Yarbrough Young, age 91 of Franklinton, North Carolina.  Mrs. Young transitioned on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Thursday, January 9, 2025 beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Family Visitation followed by service at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of First United Church of Christ in Franklinton, North Carolina.  Reverend Toma Shaw will officiate and interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton, North Carolina.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  three children, Anthony Young of Greensboro, North Carolina, Walter Andrew Young and Letha Annette Young, both of Raleigh, North Carolina; four grandchildren, William Douglas Young, Jr., NyKeshia James, Delmore Montel Robinson and Nazir Young; four great-grandchildren, Malachi Douglas Young, Jeremiah William Young, Delmore Robinson, Jr. and Sincere Robinson; one brother, Reverend Walter Yarbrough (Mary) of Franklinton, North Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Maxine Robinson of New Rochele, New York and Mary Louise Young of Franklinton, North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Harold C. Young of Hyattsville, Maryland; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Young will lie in repose and family present for greetings on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in the sanctuary of First United Church of Christ from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The family request masks be worn to all services.
