Julia Beatrice Perry Alston

When I get home, how happy I will be, the saints will be singing and joy bells be ringing, when I get home.  With care, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering compassion to the relatives and friends of Mrs. Julia Alston, age 94 of 634 Ernest Turner Road in the Inez Community, Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mrs. Alston transitioned on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  Elder John D. Joyner, Pastor will officiate and Elder Roy C. Alston will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  eight children, Carol Alston and Laura Ann Alston, both of the home, Louis Alston (LuBertha) of Irvington, New Jersey, Charlie Alston (Mary) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Roy C. Alston (Gertie) of Warrenton, North Carolina, Geniva Dowtin of Wise, North Carolina, Guy Alston (Princess) of Henderson, North Carolina and Faye Alston of Warrenton, North Carolina; twenty-three grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Lula Mae Williams of Warrenton, North Carolina; three brothers-in-law, Eugene Dent of Eure, North Carolina, Sandy Alston and Richard Alston, both of Warrenton, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Alston will lie in repose on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. in R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
