With loving arms, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Mrs. Julia Ann Debnam Merritt, age 80 of Boston, Massachusetts. Mrs. Merritt, transitioned on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 in Boston, Massachusetts.
A native of Warren County, she was the daughter of Harvey and Mamie Debnam, and a 1962 graduate of John R. Hawkins High School, where she graduated as the class salutatorian.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Williams Family Cemetery on Highway 43 in Warrenton, North Carolina. The Reverend Doris Jean Jones will officiate.
Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by: two children, Myron “Mykie” Merritt and Casandra “Kandi” Merritt Thomas; three granddaughters, Kentavia, Antwanette and Mychal; four grandsons, Asheem, Malcolm, Myles and Devondre; fourteen great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Timmy Thomas; two siblings, Jannie M. Fowler and Millard Dean Debnam; one sister-in-law, Ella Debnam; seven step children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will assemble at the R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
