Joyce Faye Williams

When the last day shall come and I have to wave this world goodbye, I'm going over there where Jesus is.  With loving hearts, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives and friends of Mrs. Joyce Faye Williams, age 72 of Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mrs. Williams transitioned on Friday, January 30, 2026 at the Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  Bishop J. Terrell Alston will officiate and interment will follow in the Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  one son, Reginald "Reggie" Burton of Warrenton, North Carolina; one daughter, Latoya W. Watson (Daniel) of Henderson, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, LaShea (Derrick), Darian, Charles, III., Shantel, Kendra, Samyra and Kennedi; one great-grandson, Ja'Sai; three sisters, Freda W. Alston of Warrenton, North Carolina, Audrey W. Ferrell (Wilbert) of Tallahassee, Florida and Sequence Davis (Donald) of Manson, North Carolina; seven brothers-in-law, Leonard Williams and Barkley Williams, both of Warrenton, North Carolina, James Hymon (Geraldine), Kenneth Williams, John Rogers Williams (Shelia) all of Baltimore, Maryland, Gaynell Williams of Norlina, North Carolina and Carlton Williams (Ellen) of Henderson, North Carolina; five sisters-in-law, Oneida Williams, Mary Gie Kearney (Lee) and Connetta Alston (William) all of Warrenton, North Carolina, Lyndell Whaki (Wilson) of Suffolk, Virginia and Sandra Hargrove of Norlina, North Carolina; a special niece, Gwen Williams of Warrenton, North Carolina; three special friends, LaGretta Carter of Wise, North Carolina, Lisa Bell of Macon, North Carolina and Carolyn W. Davis of Warrenton, North Carolina; a plethora of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, classmates, coworkers and friends.

Mrs. Williams will lie in repose on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
