Joseph M. "Joey" Correa

With care and compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Mr. Joseph "Joey" Correa, age 65  of the Largo Community, Norlina, North Carolina.  Mr. Correa transitioned on Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Carson F. Jones, Jr., Pastor will officiate and the Reverend Randolph Moten will deliver the eulogy.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  two daughters, Damaris C. Williams (Macy) of Franklinton, North Carolina and Arianna Correa of Henderson, North Carolina; one step-son,  Jemar Brown of Alexandria, Virginia; one grandson, Macy Williams, Jr. of Franklinton, North Carolina; three aunts, Lucy Spivey of Tennesse, Gloria J. Dunson (Calvin) of Norlina, North Carolina and Joan Davis (Norman) of Richmond, Virginia; two uncles, Kermit Somerville, Jr. of Norlina, North Carolina and Ronald Somerville of Henderson, North Carolina; one special nephew-in-law, James "Rock" Perry; two great-nieces, Sharmari Anderson and Niyanna Perry; one great-nephew, Minister Rocquan Perry; one great-great nephew, Juelz Alvear; one great-great niece, Skylar Alston; a special cousin, Alonzo Somerville, Jr.; special friends, Clarence Royster, Jr. and Alphonso Fore; a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Correa will lie in repose on Sunday, April 20, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors at the home, 950 Largo Road, Norlina, North Carolina.
