Mrs. Williams transitioned on Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Hock Pavilion Center in Durham, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend Carson F. Jones, Jr., pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by: her husband, Leonard T. Williams of the home; three children, Gwendolyn Williams (Montellus), Leonard T. "Tony" Williams, Jr. (Niesha) and Dominique Williams (Shalette) all of Warrenton, North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Freda Alston of Warrenton, North Carolina, Audrey Ferrell (Wilbert) of Tallahassee, Florida, Sequence Davis (Donald) of Manson, North Carolina and Joyce Faye Williams of Warrenton, North Carolina; four sisters-in-law, Oneida Williams, Elizabeth Richardson, Virginia Preston and Carolyn B. Williams all of Warrenton, North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Jimmie Sidberry of Warrenton, North Carolina; two special friends, Revern Alston and Mary Turner, both of Warrenton, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Williams will lie in repose on Friday, February 23, 2024 in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. The family will be present for greetings from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The family will meet at the home of Dominique Williams, 1855 Baltimore Road, Warrenton, North Carolina.
