Precious Lord, take my hand, and lead me home. With care and compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Mr. John Earl "King" Bullock, age 66 of Manson, North Carolina. Mr. Bullock transitioned on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Jerusalem United Church of Christ in Boydton, Virginia. The Reverend Otha Wimbush, pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by: four sisters, Gloria Campbell of Brooklyn, New York, Jeanette Bullock of Staten Island, New York, Gladys Harris and Vernita Williamson, both of Manson, North Carolina; two brothers, Milton Bullock of Brooklyn, New York and Albert Bullock of Norlina, North Carolina; four sisters-in-law, Lillie Bullock, Christine Henderson, both of Manson, North Carolina, Angie Bullock of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Janet Bullock of Brooklyn, New York; a special friend, Walter “Pumpkin” Marrow; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Mr. Bullock will lie in repose on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Gladys Harris, 1389 Burchette Road, Manson, North Carolina.
