John Kent Russell

With care and compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mr. John Kent Russell, age 61 formerly of Warren County.  Mr. John Kent Russell transitioned on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Sentara Medical Center in Woodbridge Virginia.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.  Reverend Jason Whitley will officiate.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  four daughters, Michelle Barnes “Peep” as he called her, Chiquita Mobley, Francis Ford and Kendra Janay of Macon, North Carolina; one soul son, Trevion Davis of Wise, North Carolina; four granddaughters whom he called his troops, Areeon Barnes, Rhemidee Barnes, Laeyla Barnes and Dakota Barnes; a soul grandson, Cordon Zelaya of Ashburn, Virginia along with Daveon Jamya Williams and Lyric Ford; a host of dear cousins, family, friends, friends that became family from Northern Virginia to North Carolina.  To know him, was to have a memory or story to tell to match. 

Mr. Russell will lie in repose on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
