Jamez Laquan "Mez" Kearney

Many things about tomorrow, I don't seem to understand, but I know who holds tomorrow and I know who holds my hand.  With tender sympathy, R. H. Greene is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mr. Jamez Laquan "Mez" Kearney, age 29 of Oxford, North Carolina.  Mr. Kearney transitioned on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in Granville County, North Carolina. 

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 12:00 noon in the sanctuary of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Dr. K. Lamonte Williams will officiate.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  his mother, Angela Davis of Creedmoor, North Carolina; his father, James Thomas Kearney of Norlina, North Carolina; one brother, Semaj Kearney of Wise, North Carolina; aunts and uncles, Phyllis Alexander of Manson, North Carolina, Paula Kearney, Stephon Chavis and Schafer Kearney, all of Henderson, North Carolina, Bryant Russell of Warrenton, North Carolina and Mary "Cookie" Jones of Blythewood, South Carolina; two special great aunts, Bertha D. Hargrove of Warrenton, North Carolina and Cassandra Lambert of Ridgeway, North Carolina; five special cousins whom he called his "aunties", Regina Davis, Lorraine Davis, Tina Green all of Richmond, Virginia, Sharon Davis of Henderson, North Carolina and JaWanda Burchette of Wake Forest, North Carolina; four special cousins whom he called his uncles, Antonio Davis of Dumfries, Virginia, Reginald Davis of San Diego, California, Eric Johnson of Woodbridge, Virginia and LeVar Johnson of Wise, North Carolina; two special cousins, Saquan Alexander of Henderson, North Carolina and Antonio Davis of Alexandria, Virginia; his peer support specialist, Beryl of Durham, North Carolina; a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Angela Davis, 2534 Jatavian Lane, Creedmoor, North Carolina.
