Herman Edward Bullock

Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on, let me stand. Through the storm, through the night, lead me on to the light.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering compassion and dignity to the relatives of Mr. Herman Edward Bullock, age 71 of Raleigh, North Carolina, formerly of Ridgeway.  Mr. Bullock transitioned on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Ridgeway Missionary Baptist Church in Ridgeway, North Carolina.  Reverend Dr. Willie T. Ramey, III., Pastor, will officiate and Reverend Dr. Ronald E. Avery will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be celebrated by:  his wife, Valerie H. Bullock of the home; three children, Carmen L. Bullock Baylies (Peter) of Durham, North Carolina, Johnea Bullock of Los Angeles, California and Brandon Hill (Tiffany) of Raleigh, North Carolina; his grandchildren, Knight, Dream and Xavier; his siblings, Harold Bullock of Camp Springs, Maryland, Melvin Bullock (Sharon) of Knightdale, North Carolina and Mable Yvonne Bullock Alston of Norlina, North Carolina; his step sisters and brothers, Shirley Foxworth (Clifton) of Trenton, New Jersey, Maxine Russell of Raleigh, North Carolina, Curtis Alexander (Gwenervere) of Boydton, Virginia, Linda Allen (Crinnie) of Garner, North Carolina and Ronnie Alexander (Carolyn) of Boydton, Virginia; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Bullock will lie in repose on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home and on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at Ridgeway Baptist Church.
