During this moment of sadness, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the remaining loved ones of Mrs. Hazel Mae Middelijn, age 65 of 777 Oakville Road, Macon, North Carolina. Mrs. Middelijn transitioned on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of New Jerusalem Cathedral in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Reverend Kevin Williams, Pastor will officiate.
Left to cherish memories are: her daughter, Nytisha Middelijn; two grandsons, Qlyl and Dmaja Middelijn; one great-granddaughter, Kaia Reign Middelijn; six siblings, Michael Alston (Yvonne), Gloria Alston, Carolyn Alston, Linda Alston, Mary Ann Walton (Charles) and Florence Millar (Rupert); her golden girls, Joanne Irby, Lily Powell, Catherine May and Elisha; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
There will be no public viewing.
