Freddie Allen Brown

Greene Funeral Home is offering care to the loved ones of Mr. Freddie Allen Brown, age 81 of Knightdale, North Carolina.  A native of Warren County, Mr. Brown transitioned on Friday, January 9, 2026 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Locust Grove Baptist Church in the Warrenton, North Carolina.  Reverend William Bryant will officiate and interment will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  three children, Vincent Brown of Boston, Massachusetts, Corey Brown of Knightdale, North Carolina and Annetta Brown of Warrenton, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Kori Brown; five grandsons, Rakim Hawley, Connell Brown, Jamael Brown, Hywartha Hawley and Jawaun Brown; two great-grandchildren, Hywartha Hawley, Jr. and Tylan Hawley and one soon expecting; two sisters, Bertha Hargrove of Warrenton, North Carolina and Cassandra Lambert of Ridgeway, North Carolina; one brother, James Davis (Jeanette) of Richmond, Virginia; four sisters-in-law, Patricia Junious (Mack) of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Betty Bryant (Calvin) of Warrenton, North Carolina, Gloria Bryant and Pauline Sharon Bryant (Reginald), both of Henderson, North Carolina; three brothers-in-law, William Bryant (Brenda) of Knightdale, North Carolina, Burnice Bryant (Francine) of Landover, Maryland and James Bryant (Della) of Norlina, North Carolina; a special friend, Lester Suyden of Bowie, Maryland; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Brown will lie in repose on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Bertha Hargrove, 136 White Farm Road, Warrenton, North Carolina.
