Frances B. Jones Davis

Blessed Assurance, Jesus is mine, Oh, what a foretaste of Glory divine.  This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering care and concern to the loved ones of Mrs. Frances Jones Davis, age 84 of the Hecks Grove Community, Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mrs. Davis transitioned on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the Sentara Medical Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 12:00 noon in the sanctuary of Union Grove Baptist Church in Henderson, North Carolina.  Reverend Stephon D. Goode, Pastor will officiate and interment will follow in the Edwards Grove Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Cherished memories will forever be cherished by:  one son, Leonard Davis, Jr., of Warrenton, North Carolina; one daughter, Katina E. Weldon  and son-in-law, Kasson Weldon of Virginia Beach, Virginia; four grandchildren, Tyler  C. Davis of Connecticut, Caleb J. Weldon, Jeremiah Weldon and Josiah Weldon, all of Virginia; one godson, Carlton Perry of New York; one sister, Cloretta Jones Collins of Maryland; one brother, Clovis Jones of Maryland; three brothers-in-law, Gerald Davis of Texas, Reverend Spencer L. Davis (Corinthian) of Henderson, North Carolina and Calvin Davis (Mary) of Warrenton, North Carolina; four sisters-in-law, Cora Newkirk (Jim) of Henderson, North Carolina, Carolyn Davis Jones, Shirley Davis and Laura Mae Davis, all of Warrenton, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Davis will lie in repose on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
