Ferman Steed

When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be.  When we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory.  With compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Mr. Ferman Steed, age 87 of Norlina, North Carolina.  Mr. Steed transitioned on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the R. H. Greene Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton, North Carolina.  Reverend Doris J. Jones will officiate.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  lifelong friends, Irene Steed of Norlina, North Carolina and Esther Steed of Georgia; five daughters, Mary Stevenson and Vernell Steed, both of Charlotte, North Carolina, Tanya Steed and Tiquea Steed, both of Norlina, North Carolina and Brenda Steed of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; two sons, Thomas Steed of Jersey City, New Jersey and Anthony Steed (Berta) of Norlina, North Carolina; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Hattie S. Durham (Orlandus) of Silver Springs, Maryland; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Steed will lie in repose on Saturday, August 12, 2023 in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
