Greene Funeral Home is offering compassion and service to the loved ones of Ms. Essie Mae Harris, age 73 of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Warren County, North Carolina. Ms. Harris transitioned on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Melech Hospice House in Tampa, Florida.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina. Reverend King Perry, Jr., will officiate, followed by the interment.
Those left to cherish her memories are: two children, Antoinette “Toni” Hyman (Curtis) of Hampton, Virginia and Daniel C. Harris of Warrenton, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Danielle Carter of Durham, North Carolina, Brandon Hyman (Treasure) of Hampton, Virginia and Curtis Rayford of Owings Mills, Maryland; four great-granddaughters, Brooklyn Carter, Harper Hyman, Cyah Rayford and Cree Rayford; one great-grandson, Caleb Wesson; siblings, Dorothy Ward of Orlando, Florida, Glennish Negron (Domingo) of Tucson, Arizona, Patsy Richardson (Calvin) of Groveland, Florida, Mildred Harris of Warrenton, North Carolina, Barbara Harris of Groveland, Florida, Alice Harris of Tucson, Arizona, Glenn Harris, Jr. (Simone) of Guyana and Fenice Harris of Oak Hill, Florida; one special person she wish she had met; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ms. Harris will lie in repose on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
