Mr. Levister transitioned on Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, Virginia.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of New Providence Christian Missionary Baptist Church in Wise, North Carolina. Reverend Kathard Marks, Pastor will officiate, interment with Military Honors will follow in the church cemetery.
Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by: his wife, Melissa Levister of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his mother, Lena Mae Levister of Warrenton, North Carolina; six children, Rayshaun Levister (Jennifer) of Alexandria, Virginia, Neno King and Dayshonta Howard, both of Henderson, North Carolina, Lenae Levister, Jay Louis and Nadia Levister all of Fredericksburg, Virginia; ten grandchildren; one brother, Alfred Levister of Norlina, North Carolina; three sisters, Annette Miller of Clayton, North Carolina, Eunice Hunt of Warrenton, North Carolina and Avis Levister of Soul City, North Carolina; a special friend, Cathrin of Manassas, Virginia; a special cousin, Jennifer Branch of Richmond, Virginia; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Mr. Levister will lie in repose on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Mrs. Lena Mae Levister, 113 Hawtree Creek Way, Warrenton, North Carolina.
