Emma Lou Southerland Davis

Greene Funeral Home is offering sympathy and care to the loved ones of Mrs. Emma Lou Southerland Davis, age 84 of Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mrs. Davis transitioned on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Union Grove Baptist Church in Henderson, North Carolina.  The Reverend Corwin S. Mason will officiate and Reverend Jimmie M. Hayes will deliver the eulogy.

Those left to cherish everlasting memories are: two daughters, Shirley Davis Strong (Bobby) and Elsie Davis, both of Warrenton, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Cassandra Daniel (Avery), Beverly Hayes, Pastor Jimmie Hayes (Jean), Clifton Kearney (Alicia), Clayton Kearney and Travis Fields; thirty-great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; four sisters,  Annie Southerland, Mavis Bradley (Richard) and Rebecca Southerland, both of Warrenton, North Carolina and Ada Jones (Walter) of Henderson, North Carolina; two brothers, Willie Southerland of Warrenton, North Carolina and Clifton Southerland (Mary) of Louisburg, North Carolina; one daughter-in-law, Lynette Fields Davis of Warrenton, North Carolina; one son-in-law, Jimmie Lee Hayes of Warrenton, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Esther Southerland of Warrenton, North Carolina; a special family friend, Karen Cedillos; a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.

Mrs. Davis will lie in repose in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m.

The family will receive visitors at the home located at 2956 US Highway 401 South in Warrenton, North Carolina.
